As a board certified specialist in Physical, Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), Dr. Fullerton focuses on patients with musculoskeletal pain related to sports injuries, arthritis and accidents. He has specialized training in musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging and regenerative injection therapy (Prolotherapy). Through his private practice (ProloAustin.com), he performs ongoing research in this area to objectively evaluate tissue healing. He has published articles on these topics in specialty journals and textbooks. Dr. Fullerton has presented his research at the American Academy of PM&R, Texas Medical Association, University of Wisconsin, American Association of Orthopedic Medicine, University of Pittsburgh, Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Institute of Health. Dr. Fullerton is the current director of the Spasticity Clinic at Dell Children’s Medical Center of Austin and immediate-past President of the Texas PMR Society.
